AMD Pro Control Center is a free program with several utilities to maintain and optimize your AMD system. For example, it has an Energy Saving feature that sets your system to use its minimum amount of energy at preset times. You can set those times by clicking on each day of the week and establish at what time in the morning or evening the system would switch to the energy-saving mode. It has a Quick Scheduling function too, which will allow scheduling this task automatically.
The program also has a PC Health option, which you can use to schedule several maintenance procedures so the program can perform them automatically at preset times. These procedures are Backup, Defragment, Update, Delete .temp files, and Delete cookies. The first three functions are activated by default, while the other two can be activated and then set the time in which they will perform. Please take into account that the functions can perform only one at a time, so you need to be careful not to schedule two or more tasks at the same day and hour.
The program also has a USB blocker, which will help you to prevent that somebody can copy the sensitive information on a mass-storage device, thus protecting your information.
The program also has several other functions that aren't activated, such as Quick Stream, to optimize your Internet connection; Raid X-Pert, only for Ryzen processors, and Wi-Fi Display, which opened an invalid webpage when I clicked on it.
In sum, if you have an AMD system and want to have it protected and optimized, then you may want to try this free program.
Tune, cool, and maximize performance of your Intel Extreme Series Desktop Board.
